What Restraints Do

Restraints remove the option of moving freely. That is the entire mechanism.

When you cannot reach to touch the thing being touched, or move away from the thing being moved toward you, your nervous system pays more attention. Every brush of skin, breath, fabric, becomes loud. The brain compensates for limited mobility by cranking up the sensitivity dial on everything else.

Wrists and ankles attached via under-bed restraint straps. Maximum exposure. Total dependence on the partner's pace. The visual is intense.

Tie one wrist. Pause. Check in. Tie the second. Pause. Check in. The slow ceremonial buildup is where the anticipation lives. Do not speed through it.
