Helicopter is a perpendicular sex position where one partner lies on their back, the other partner lies on their back facing the opposite direction with hips on top, and penetration happens from this sideways angle. How To Actually Do It

Look up an image first
Helicopter is one of those positions where text descriptions fail. Pull up an image of the position before attempting. Save yourself five minutes of confused setup.

Receiver lies flat on the bed
Standard supine. Legs slightly apart. Arms wherever feels comfortable. This partner is the base.

Giver positions perpendicular
Giver lies on their back at a 90 degree angle to the receiver. Their hips move on top of the receivers hips. The giver is now sort of crossing over the receiver at the pelvis. Bodies form a T or plus sign.
